How to update Magento 1 extension

  1. Go to www.mageworx.com website.

  2. Login into your account. Go to MY ORDERS page.

  3. Download the desired extension.

  4. Disable the Compilation Mode (if enabled) in System -> Tools -> Compilation

  5. Enable and flush Magento caches in System -> Cache Management

  6. Log out from Magento Admin panel.

  7. Unpack the contents of the downloaded extension to your Magento root folder.
  8. Log into Magento Admin Panel.
  9. Go to the System -> Cache Management section, flush Magento caches again.
  10. You can run the Compilation mode back if necessary in System -> Tools -> Compilation
